Hard

You want to know why it's so hard to let go?

Because you've made that person your everything. You shared your world with them.

You laughed together, you cried together. You had a song, an anniversary, inside jokes, code words, silly nicknames, share possessions. You bought each other pesents just because.

You'd write each other little notes just to say "I Love You" in as many different ways as you could.

You sang to each other, talked on the phone for hours, watched endless amounts of bad tv shows just to make fun of the people on them. You planned your future together.

They told you they wanted to grow old with you. They promised you they'd never live you.

But they left anyway. You've given them your whole heart, and when they leave, a piece of you goes with them. And that, is why it's so hard to let them go.
